Please note that this information relates to our legacy courses sold on radiolingua.com before December 2016. For up-to-date information relating to the new version of our courses on the Coffee Break Academy, please see the relevant section.
When you sign up for one of our courses, a welcome email is automatically sent out to the email address you used when you registered with us. This email contains the instructions for downloading the material using iTunes. This email may have gone into a Junk/Spam folder at your end, so it's worth checking them to see if it was delivered there if you haven't received it.
All of the material is most easily downloaded using iTunes. To do this, you must connect to the private members' feed(s) for your package. You can find the correct members' feed to use for your package on the Members section of the main website. Place the mouse over the Members menu on the website then navigate to the relevant course. Click on the course name to go to the Members' page for that package. On that page you will find instructions for downloading the material and the correct links to use for the particular package you purchased.
In the tables on the members' pages there are 'One-click' buttons that will automatically open iTunes and connect to the members' feed and also the feeds themselves that you can copy and then paste into the 'Subscribe to Podcast..' option in the Advanced menu in iTunes if you want to connect manually.
Once you have connected to the feed, you will be asked for your username and password. These details will be the ones you setup when you registered and purchased the course. If you need a reminder of your username and password you can contact us on the Helpdesk and we will send you the details.
Once you enter your username and password, you will be connected to the feed. Make sure you are looking at the podcast list in 'List view' in iTunes by clicking on the left-most small square box at the top of the iTunes window just to the right of the central status bar. You should see the podcast name with a small triangle to the left. Click on that triangle to expand the list to show all the files within the package. A 'Get all' button should now be visible at the top of the column. Click on that to start downloading all the files to your iTunes library.
Note that on some versions of iTunes there is no 'Get all' button. If that is the case, you can download each file by double-clicking on them.
If you have any missing files that you need to download again, you can also download the individual files manually from the tables on the members' pages. Each file has an individual link in the table and you can right-click (ctrl-click on Mac) those files and select 'Save File As..' to save the file to your computer. You can then add the file to your iTunes library to join it with the other files.
Update: 7th November 2012:
If you have upgraded iTunes to v.11, the above instructions will no longer be valid. In this case, you will now find the 'Subscribe to Podcast..' option in the 'File' menu. You can change the podcast to 'List view' by clicking on the 'List' button at the top of the iTunes window just under the central status bar. You should see the podcast name with a small triangle to the left. Click on that triangle to expand the list to show all the files within the package. A 'down arrow' button should now be visible at the top of the column - on the same line as the main podcast name. This is the new download or 'get' button. Click on that to start downloading all the files to your iTunes library.
